Email Discussion Forum - Appropriate Posting Guidelines

  1. Keep things on topic
Anything to do with thrombophilia is Ok to discuss.

Some things are NEVER appropriate for posting to a discussion list:

    • Advertising of any kind
    • Chain letters of any kind
    • Any message containing the words 'Forward this to everyone you know'.
    • Any message containing an attachment

If you post messages of these types to the list, you will be politely asked not to do so again. If you do it again, you will be ejected from the list and your address will be banned.
  2. You kiss your mother with that mouth?
Please keep in mind that anything you post to a list will be read by a wide range of members. A list community may contain minors, people sensitive to profanity, or people with simply nothing better to do than complain. To protect their tender ears (and ours), please watch your language.

    NO RELIGIOUS HOOHA

Not all list members share your religious views. In fact, some members find religious references distasteful at the very least. For that reason, we ask that you do not include prayers, scriptures, or similar passages in email messages sent to the list. We appreciate your consideration and assistance in keeping these lists as accessible as possible to the largest segments of their respective communities.

STUFF OUR LAWYER INSISTS BE INCLUDED

    1. We don't know nothing about nothing
Deborah Okner Smith do not actively monitor list traffic in any way, nor am I responsible for anything that doesn't come directly from our fingers or mouths. . The list is an unmoderated list. It is designed that way so that eveyone can discuss freely. I expect everyone to act in an adult manner. I don't think you need a babysitter.

Deborah Okner Smith specifically disclaims any and all liability for events resulting from a user's participation in the list community, and the operation or performance of our servers, software, or connectivity.
    2. I don't even play one on television
Before following any advice from a list member on any subject, use your head. You wouldn't ordinarily follow the (for example) medical advice from a stranger on the street without checking with your physician. Don't do anything without consulting someone whose qualifications and compentence you trust.
    ARCHIVING

Please do not archive any list's messages or send them to other groups, even if you have the best intentions in mind. We wish to retain administrative control over the list, and we maintain our own archives of the messages. Individuals who meet the guidelines and want to subscribe are welcome to do so.

    LIST-SPECIFIC INFORMATION
