Email Discussion Forum

Our discussion list is a place for email correspondence regarding thrombophilia issues: Factor V Leiden and/or clotting related. Currently there are over 1300 people on our mailing list from all over the world.

We are an international group!

Anyone can join, you don't have to have thrombophilia to discuss and read about it. However, In order to participate in the list discussions, you need to subscribe.

Here are the rules for the email discussion forum - Please read them before signing up.

Subscribing / Changing Subscription

To subscribe (or change your subscription's settings), go to the List's Subscription Manager and complete the form. An email containing a confirmation link will be sent to you from LISTSERV.

You must confirm your subscription by clicking the link before you may participate in discussions.

There are three types of subscriptions: regular, digest, and index. Which subscription type you select determines how you will receive posts (emails) from the List. For information on the various subscription types, click the Subscription Type Info link before making your selection. You may change your selection at any time.

Your name and email address will never be given to anyone. However, your email address will appear on List messages as the sender.

Participating in List Discussions

After you signup, you may participate by sending posts (emails) to list@lists.fvleiden.org. Be sure to send your posts from the email address you signed up with. Alternatively, you may go to the List's Homepage and use the Post to the List online form.

Viewing the List Archives. List posts are archived and may be searched and viewed from the List's Homepage. In order to protect the identity of participants, the archives are password-protected. You must register and login to LISTSERV Online before you may view the archives.

Temporarily Stopping List Mail

If you would like to temporarily stop receiving emails from List, such as when you go on vacation, go to the Subscription Manager, complete the form selecting "No Mail" as the subscription type, and submit the form. When you would again like to start receiving emails from the List, go back to the Subscription Manager, complete the form selecting Regular, Digest, or Index as the subscription type, and submit the form.

Unsubscribing

If you would like to permanently stop receiving emails from the List, either complete and submit the unsubscribe form, or send an email addressed to: listserv@lists.fvleiden.org, with the message: unsubscribe LIST
